lyrics
Sometimes life is hard,
Broken body, broken mind and you’re,
You're feeling so alone,
Suffering in silence, paying undue penance.
Through the pain, the tears in your eyes,
Raise your gaze, look up at the night sky!
Navigate the resistant path,
Darkness will hide you,
Stars, they will guide you.
They don’t know you, or what you can do,
Or about the fire that has always seen you through.
Now is the time, now is the hour, to show...
Them your power.
Shoot for the moon, my sweet sweet baby:
Miss, you’ll land in the stars.
C’mon, shoot for the moon my sweet, sweet darling,
It’s all or nothing tonight.
Don’t listen to the voice inside,
That tells you you’re useless, your own personal Judas.
Keep it locked, behind that wall,
Your life isn't forfeit, you are strong and I know it.
Look at me, here I am,
It won’t always be raining, clearer skies are coming.
Give it your all, your heart, your soul,
I won’t let you fall, but victims, well, aren’t we all.

I first came across SGT Thunderhoof on their spilt with Howling Giant. The quality of their track compelled me to search for more. And were better to start than the beginning. There are only 5 songs on this album, but, as you’ll discover when you start listening, the SGT love his long tunes that eb & flow with walls of sound punctuated with meandering interludes. This album just gets better the further you get through it. The other reviews are right. Not their best but still really good. Harry Harrison

Ruby the Hatchet aren’t breaking the mould with their 70’s style heavy rock. If you’re channeling the best of what your genre has to offer then you’re doing just fine. They are and I seriously hope they come to the U.K. one day with their organ driven riffage.
Their female vocalist is great too. So many great female fronted heavy bands these days. Love it! Crinklechips
